American Erecting was founded in Houston, Texas in 1976 by David Maniha and Gilbert Palmer — two industry veterans who believed there was a better, more professional way to install commercial storage systems. They were right.

Over the following decades, American Erecting became the installation contractor that companies across Houston and the United States called when the work had to be done correctly. The OSHA certified crews David and Gil built didn't just do good work — they took pride in it. The men on American Erecting's crews today have been with the company for more than a decade, and that continuity shows in every project they complete.

In 2010, Ron Sanner of SANTEX Solutions began working with American Erecting, and over the next 13 years a true working partnership — and friendship — grew between the two companies. When David and Gil were ready to retire, there was only one person they trusted to carry the company forward. Ron acquired American Erecting and committed to preserving everything that made it exceptional.

Today, American Erecting operates as the dedicated installation arm of the SANTEX Solutions family — bringing the same standard of professionalism and precision that David and Gil established in 1976 to every project we take on.
